Trust is a lie.

There are no bonds. There is no happily ever after. Love eventually fades.. and there is just nothing you can do about it.
I have always used my parents' marriage as an example and a proof that love does exist. But now... they just can't stop fighting and I just want them to stop. To stop blaming each other and referring to us as a prize that they can win over by blaming one another.
Today was meant to be amazing.. sweet sixteen.. like a reward for growing up.
Instead.. there were no presents, no party, no celebration. My dad even forgot it was my birthday today. And then he blamed my mum for telling me. And then again.. another fight.
If they can't make it.. how in a million years can I believe that I can have a marriage??
Screw this.

  1. trust me on this, you should be more worried if they DON'T fight. argument means communication, even if it is negative.
and i send you extra special birthday love as a reward for staying strong :)

and you can because you're Patty :) just because they're your parents doesn't mean that your life's gonna go the same way and it doesn't mean that you're gonna make the same mistakes they make

  3. Everyone hates to see their parents argue. Mine have been arguing a lot lately too, I find the best way to deal with it is to get out of the house, go for a walk, sit in the garden, listen to some music etc... You don't have to listen to them argue lovely.

And arguments happen, I guess it's kind of part of the relationship and like Gabbi said just because your parents are arguing, doesn't mean you will too.

    Love you loads. <3 xxx
