does a person make a difference?

Can a human being make a difference? I´ve heard so many people say oh well i am not perfect, I am just human, i am allowed to do what I want and to make mistakes. Don´t get me wrong, I agree...I think when we make a mistake we have a chance to be brave and to fix it and try to do things right. But looking back in history...a human being can make such a difference. He can fill in your world with light, or sink it in darkness, but whatever he decides it will take you to a place from which you won´t be able to return.
As I was saying, looking back in history we can highlight so many human souls who have made a difference, for better or for worse : Adolf Hitler, Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein, Teresa de Calcuta, Jesus from Nazaret, Franco, Marie Curie...they are all human beings...and they all feel tired after a day of work, and they all go to the toilet and have showers...but they are different because of their actions, their indomitable will, their courage.
Sometimes, we have to find the courage to step up from who we usually are, and find the goodness with which we are born with, come back to natural basic humanity every soul has and try and make a difference.
So whoever says that we are just human beings...they are badly mistaken...we are not just human beings...we are much more than that...complex creatures who are able to think, to change things, to do great actions...it is just much easier not to.
Why not make a difference?

I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
