Been thinking all day about what to write. I think that choosing drama GCSE is one of the best things that I have ever done. Everyday is different. Yes, it brings horrible feelings sometimes, and you can get pretty beaten up about it..but it is so worth it. The joy that comes from the ultimate understanding of someone else's world, and inviting other people into that world that you have created, i have no words for it.
My group is absolutely incredible. We all put so much work into it. Our piece was a challenge, and we took things to a step further, doing stuff none of us would have ever dreamt of. Today, after the sorting out of props, make up, hair, (lovebites xd love you mary!), we all just lay down and listened. We listened to our thoughts, our emotions, the energy could almost be felt, everything made so much sense. It's like all of the books I have been reading finally got somewhere, and it was amazing. When we got on stage, I stopped being nervous. It all seemed so natural. I realised, that maybe I was not the best performer, but I was born to do this. I fell in love, with the lights, the curtains, the stage, everything.
The other groups were very good as well, and I am very proud of everyone.
I am really gonna miss our rehearsals, and the closeness that we have got now. Emily, Suhani, Gabbi, Setareh...you are in my heart guys...thank you for everything.
Davies.
